The SMART DATA SAFE ® incorporates an internal NAS (up to 10 TB storage capacity in 5 SATA disks) for any company´s backup data. It comes with integrated remote monitoring software including environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, vibration, flooding, power, etc.
In case of any alarm being activated, the machine will notify via SMS and/or email and will automatically switch off, protecting the data stored inside.
Once it has been set up, there is no need for human intervention. The machine will operate 24 / 7 on its own. The backup process is carried out independently without any additional man-hours (time and money) required.
As all information is kept in disk format inside the internal NAS, there is no need for subcontracting companies or staff to transport the traditional tapes away from the company to a 3rd location, as all information is kept on site inside the black box SMART DATA SAFE ®.
